Grand Charity and eBay

Grand Charity and eBay

A couple of weeks back I was trying to find some systems to raise money for the Freemasons Grand Charity.

I was putting some items on eBay. Not done that for some time.

tried to use the Charity donation to the Freemasons Grand Charity and it was not there. So I hit the link which shows you to a request to add certain Charities to the system.

Today I aded a couple of items I have had sitting here for about 15 years and it seems they have created a button to use the Charity Donation to The Freemasons Grand Charity. So if it was my doing well done me.

So you can prompt sellers or you can do it yourself, go to the choose donation section , search for Grand Charity and donate a small percentage to OUR Charity.

£1m Silver Jubilee Research Fund: make your voice count!

£1m Silver Jubilee Research Fund: make your voice count!
FMtoday

To mark the 25th anniversary of the Masonic Samaritan Fund the charity is donating £1 million in grants to medical research projects

The fund now invites every Freemason to nominate one proposal from an agreed shortlist of five research projects, based in or near their Province. You can make your voice count by voting on the MSF’s website at: www.msfund.org.uk/research

The doctors, consultants and care experts that make up the MSF’s Trustee Board have identified the shortlist of research projects which are all high quality and worthy of your support. With only £1m of funding available through the Silver Jubilee Research Fund, there is an obvious need to make some difficult decisions – and we need your help!

Whilst most of the MSF’s trustees are Freemasons, this is the first time in their 25-year history that the fund has invited the wider membership to support a specific research project or cause in their communities.

On the fund’s website a summary of each research project has been provided with sufficient detail to enable you to make an informed decision. You will have the choice between five research projects based in, or near, the Province. You can cast your nomination by simply clicking the ‘vote now’ button.

Only Freemasons, or their widows, are invited to nominate a project so you must provide details of your full name and email address, Province and lodge name and number in order for your vote to be verified and registered.

What research study do you wish the MSF to support in our region? Make your voice count at: www.msfund.org.uk/reseach

Original web page  [ French ]

Who was going to tell a young Grand Master of GOdF as Alain Bauer, which both dealt with the issues of approach and “regularities” that the headquarters of the Grand Orient of France would be flooded so Alec Mellor called as “separated brethren” but in reverse. Well, that 15 years later Alain Bauer will be impressed by landing the French National Grand Lodge (GLNF) has done in the Rue Cadet. headquarters of the Grand Orient of France (GOdF). Incredible

It seems that besides astro conspire because this news appears as “prescribed” between some Masonic thinkers very early, has Bring a book entitled: Franc-masonry: I régularité et reconnaissance, Histories et postures, who wrote Roger Dachez, and seems will be the ideal book to understand the new set of relationships that could really explain the chapter “We are all regular ‘header. yes the roads of the Masonic diplomacy are very convoluted, at the Alain Bauer knew that had to do with some disappointment, as he came to give reason and the hand that fu one of his alter ego in the GOdF, Philippe Gugielmi ,
And is that in addition to the   Début des Rencontres Lafayette. opened with a meeting between GOdF and GLNF, as well e l May 21, 2015, as we forward who was one of the great leaders of the Great General Chapter of the French Rite Grand Orient of France: Philippe Guglielmi. was signed in Paris, FRIENDSHIP treaty between the High Grades of the French Rite of the French National Grand Lodge (GLNF) “regular” and the Great General Chapter of the French Rite of GODF. Pyramid Discovered In Mid-Atlantic In Portugal

http://www.mens-den.com/underwater-pyramid-discovered-portugal/

The pyramid was found in an area of the mid-Atlantic and it is believed that the structure has been underwater for about 20,000 years, which is considered to be the time of the last ice age where glaciers were melting.

It is said that the amateur sailor-Diocleciano Silva first discovered the structure, and estimates obtained using GPS digital technology put the height at 60 meters, with a base of 8000 square meters.

Silva discovered the pyramid while fishing on his yacht in the area. He discovered the structure through bathymetric navigation and its tip is submerged around 40 ft.

Videos posted by Portuguese media with English subtitles discussed some interesting points that explore the authenticity of the story, and the possible location using some maps.

Nepal Earthquake: £50,000 to Red Cross

https://www.grandcharity.org/news.php/130/nepal_earthquake_50000_to_red_cross

27 April 2015

The Freemasons’ Grand Charity has donated £50,000 to the Red Cross in response to the earthquake that has devastated Nepal this weekend.

So far it has been reported that over 3,700 people have been killed and over 6,500 are injured. The earthquake, the worst to have hit in 81 years, measured 7.9 on the Richter Scale and struck the Kathmandu Valley at 6am on 25 April. More than 70 aftershocks have been felt and are still continuing, with further damage still a threat. It is estimated that 2 million people have been affected and 1.6 million displaced.

As search and rescue efforts continue, hospitals in the capital continue to function but are stretched to the limit. The humanitarian situation in towns and villages closer to the epicentre and beyond the Kathmandu valley is a major concern. Accessibility to and information from remote affected areas are major challenges, hampering search and rescue and relief efforts.
